Syngenta Reinforces Commitment to India with R&D Innovations

In a visit underscoring India's pivotal role in global agricultural innovation, Syngenta's Global Crop Protection Head of Research & Development, Camilla Corsi, emphasized the company's unwavering commitment to leveraging science and innovation in India.
During her comprehensive visit, Corsi engaged directly with Indian farmers, particularly women, to glean insights into Syngenta's grassroots impact. Her itinerary included a stop at Hyderabad, where she interacted with local agri-communities and toured Valagro Biosciences, part of the Syngenta Group, highlighting the firm's holistic approach to sustainable agriculture.
A significant highlight was Syngenta India's launch of an AI-enabled chatbot, strengthening its digital-first strategy. Leandro Martinho, Head of Crop Protection Development, AMEA, lauded India's integral contribution to the company's global R&D ambitions. The visit also reaffirmed Syngenta's dedication to bolstering R&D infrastructure and fostering farmer-centric innovations in India.
