In a sharp critique aimed at the burgeoning inflation, Himachal Pradesh's Public Works Department Minister, Vikramaditya Singh, has raised concerns over the recent surge in petrol and diesel prices. Speaking from Shimla, Singh underscored the adverse effects this price hike has had on everyday people, businesses, and the construction sector within the state.

He pointed out that the increase in fuel costs directly impacts the transportation of essential commodities such as vegetables and milk, crucially affecting the cost of living.
