The Delhi government is set to launch feasibility studies aimed at operationalizing 11 hospitals through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, according to officials. This project seeks to advance the operational readiness of critical healthcare infrastructures throughout the city.
Among the hospitals being considered are Jwalapuri, Madipur, Hastsal, Siraspur, Shalimar Bagh, Sultanpuri, and CNBC Hospital at Geeta Colony, among others. The varied bed capacities range from the significantly large Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital with 1,912 beds, to a more compact ICU-bedded hospital planned at Kirari with 458 beds.
The Directorate General of Health Services has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP), inviting Transaction Advisors to evaluate each facility. These studies will address site assessments, regulatory compliance, financial analysis, and more, ensuring a strategic rollout of healthcare services tailored to the region's needs.
