In a development that has captured the attention of the international community, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Friday that a 'final, agreed-upon text' of a peace deal between the United States and Iran has been reached. This announcement comes despite the absence of any official joint confirmation from either Washington or Tehran.

Sharif's revelation, made in a post on social media platform X, also mentioned Pakistan's involvement in the mediation efforts, alongside Qatar and other Middle Eastern nations, despite prior unsuccessful attempts to broker a breakthrough. He warned of an 'incessant misinformation campaign' aimed at derailing the proposed agreement and emphasized Pakistan's role in steering negotiations.

However, CNN reported, citing unnamed diplomats, that the US-Iran peace memorandum is expected to be signed in Geneva, envisioning a ceasefire and other strategic agreements. Iran's Foreign Ministry refuted these claims, as did former President Trump, who accused Tehran of dishonorable dealings, adding to the media frenzy and underlining the current uncertainties surrounding the deal.
