U.S.-Ukraine Ceasefire: Turning Point in Military Aid and Peace Talks
Ukraine and the U.S. agreed on a 30-day ceasefire, with military aid resuming after talks in Saudi Arabia. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the importance of European involvement in peace negotiations. The agreement marks a shift from past disagreements between U.S. and Ukrainian leaders.

In a significant development, Ukraine and the United States reached a pivotal agreement on a 30-day ceasefire during talks in Saudi Arabia. The discussions, described as a 'milestone' by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, resulted in the resumption of U.S. military aid and intelligence sharing with Kyiv.
After the meeting, Sybiha communicated the outcomes to European counterparts, underscoring that Europe must play a role in any long-term peace negotiations for regional security. 'We adhere to the position: no decisions on the long-term security of Europe without Europe,' Sybiha stated on social media.
As part of his diplomatic tour, Sybiha is heading to Warsaw to engage in talks with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. Poland has been a steadfast ally of Ukraine since the invasion by Russia. The recent agreement with the U.S. marks a departure from previous tensions with American leadership, as Ukraine seeks to secure wider international cooperation for peace efforts.
