Justice Tirthankar Ghosh, who had earlier imposed restrictions on the timing of processions, noted that the city roads were well-maintained. He specifically mentioned that the police ensured uninterrupted traffic movement during the critical hours.
The court's directive to the Kolkata Police commissioner was to ensure that traffic disruptions were minimized, with an embargo on city processions before 8 am and a structured dispersal period after 11 am, ensuring effective management of the event crowd.
