Kerala's General Education Minister V Sivankutty has called on the railway ministry to ensure justice and support for Sreekutty, a woman subjected to a horrific ordeal when a drunken man pushed her from a moving train.
In his letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, he emphasized the distressing nature of the incident and called for urgent safety measures to protect passengers, particularly women, from similar events.
Sreekutty, who sustained severe injuries, is receiving critical care at the government medical college. The state is covering her medical expenses, and Sivankutty stressed the need for compensation, job support, and enhanced safety protocols across the railway network.
