The Delhi Police have apprehended two individuals accused of recruiting and trafficking young Indians to Myanmar, where they faced 'cyber-slavery' conditions while engaged in forced cyber-fraud, officials announced.
The arrests of Danish Raja, 24, from Delhi, and Harsh, 30, from Faridabad, were made following revelations that emerged after Myanmar's military raided a scam compound in Myawaddy, rescuing several trafficked Indians.
Investigations reveal these young individuals were coerced into targeting US nationals across multiple scam hubs in Myanmar, with the police tracing and acting upon testimonies from deportees, as the crackdown continues on the syndicated network using complex illegal operations.
