The Uttarakhand Cabinet has approved a groundbreaking series of decisions aimed at propelling state development. Equal pay for Uttarakhand Purv Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited employees, contingent on ten years of service, was greenlit alongside an ordinance to amend the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).
Robust new regulations for homestays and B&B establishments were introduced, allowing only permanent residents to benefit. The Cabinet also passed a guarantee for sugar mill loans, aiming to revitalize this crucial sector.
