In a recent social media outcry, Aaditya Thackeray, a prominent leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), lambasted the Maharashtra government over video footage that emerged showing police officers filling potholes in Mumbai and Mira Bhayander.
Thackeray questioned the necessity of employing police officers for this task rather than engaging contracted firms, which he claimed are controlled by allies of the BJP and the ruling government led by CM Eknath Shinde.
Expressing his discontent on platform X, Thackeray tagged the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), condemning them with the statement: 'Shame on NHAI.'
