In a wide-scale demonstration targeting 245 slum clusters across Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took a stand against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by denouncing the poor living conditions and lack of development in these areas.
Led by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, the campaign involved senior party figures, MPs, MLAs, and local councillors. Sachdeva accused the AAP of mismanaging the needs of slum dwellers, asserting that both middle-class and slum residents are disillusioned with Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi's unfulfilled promises.
The BJP leadership promised improvements in slum conditions if they come to power. Prominent leaders, including Dushyant Gautam and Meenakshi Lekhi, backed these claims, while Praveen Khandelwal criticized AAP for exploiting slum dwellers as political tools.
