In a significant pronouncement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Friday that the Narendra Modi-led administration is set to eradicate Naxalism from Chhattisgarh by March 31, 2026. This pledge was made during an election rally at Chandrapur in Maharashtra.
Highlighting the achievements under Modi's leadership, Shah emphasized efforts to rid the nation of terrorism and Naxalism. "Modi ji has worked to make the country prosperous and increase its respect in the world," he asserted to the attentive crowd.
Shah further detailed the allocation of Rs 15.10 lakh crore for Maharashtra's development and urged the electorate to support the formation of the Mahayuti government, promising to restore Maharashtra's lost glory after the previous administration.
