The Trump administration is set to accept a luxurious Boeing 747-8 airplane from Qatar's royal family. This aircraft, intended to serve as Air Force One, might later be donated to Trump's presidential library after his presidency concludes.
According to White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, the administration will act within legal boundaries, emphasizing transparency in dealing with the gift. The Qatari government's remarkable offer is reportedly valued at around $400 million.
Despite potential criticism, the administration remains unfazed by what critics regard as an unethical and possibly unconstitutional gesture. President Trump is scheduled to visit Qatar, following their significant diplomatic efforts in Middle Eastern negotiations.
