In an interview with PTI, Joshi emphasized a former Lok Sabha speaker's rule that Parliament does not discuss the Election Commission's functioning. Highlighting past electoral practice, Joshi dismissed Congress's concerns over the revision of voter rolls in Bihar as a tactic to create unnecessary perceptions.

Addressing the 'Vote Adhikar' rally organized by Congress in Karnataka, Joshi questioned Gandhi's logic, noting Congress's electoral victories under the same Election Commission they now contest. Joshi challenged Gandhi's stance as inconsistent, suggesting it undermines constitutional institutions.
