On Saturday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann sharply criticized former Congress and Akali governments, accusing their leaders of exploiting state resources like 'parasites'. He claimed they remain focused solely on power rather than progress.
Mann, while inaugurating various projects, expressed optimism about Punjab's future. He emphasized his government's dedication to transforming the state into a frontrunner, underscoring efforts in infrastructure, energy projects, and farmer support initiatives. The chief minister highlighted the 'Takseem' campaign, starting on April 13, as part of tangible ground-level changes being implemented.
In his address, Mann condemned traditional political parties for alleged betrayals, sacrilege, and neglect. He attacked Akali leader Sukhbir Badal, accusing past administrations of harming Punjab's interests and urged a collective effort to radically change Punjab's political landscape. Mann announced the 'Takseem' scheme for prompt land division, available statewide from April 13.
