In the wake of the Trinamool Congress's defeat in the West Bengal assembly elections, TMC MP Mohua Moitra has stated that the party honors the electoral verdict, underscoring the supremacy of public choice.
Posting on social media platform X, Moitra expressed that if West Bengal desired the BJP, it has securely chosen it. The TMC had governed West Bengal for 15 years before the BJP's impressive win of 206 seats, marking a two-thirds majority that ended TMC's reign.
Moitra affirmed the party's perseverance in advocating for a secular nation, where constitutional principles surpass brute majoritarian dominance.
