Max Life Insurance's Green Initiative: 25,000 Trees Planted at BSF Camp

Max Life Insurance has taken a significant step toward environmental sustainability by planting 25,000 trees at the BSF Camp in Gurugram. This plantation initiative, spanning 8 acres and utilizing the Miyawaki technique, is part of the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Pehal initiative aimed at enhancing regional biodiversity.
The plantation drive saw participation from over 50 Max Life employees who volunteered for the cause and committed to the future upkeep of the trees. Esteemed attendees included Shri Subhash Yadav, IFS, DFO; Shri Bajrang Lal Jat, Assistant Commandant, 95th Battalion, BSF; and Max Life leadership such as Prashant Tripathy, CEO, and Managing Director.
Shailesh Singh, Senior Director & Chief People Officer of Max Life, emphasized that this initiative reflects their dedication to reducing the societal carbon footprint and fostering a culture of environmental volunteerism among their employees. Haryana's Forest and Sports Minister, Kanwar Sanjay Singh, lauded the effort as crucial for combating climate change and promoting sustainable green spaces.
