Raiden Infotech India Pvt Ltd, backed by Google, is spearheading a significant technological boost in Andhra Pradesh with over Rs 87,500 crore investment for new data centers. The phased projects will receive Rs 22,000 crore as incentives from the state government, which sees it as an opportunity for economic and technological upliftment.
The government has orchestrated a groundbreaking deal to construct a USD 15 billion Artificial Intelligence hub, which encompasses a gigawatt-scale data center in collaboration with the Adani Group. This ambitious investment, detailed in a recent Government Order, ensures the establishment of more than 1000 MW data centers across Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli.
Andhra Pradesh is set to benefit from Google's largest investment in India, which not only promises thousands of jobs but also positions the state as a key player on the digital stage. Incentives include significant land discounts, tax exemptions, and power cost reductions, designed to cement the region as a digital powerhouse.
