The Federal Communications Commission has given the green light to Verizon's ambitious $1 billion acquisition of spectrum assets from U.S. Cellular. This strategic move is designed to enhance the company’s network capacity and coverage.
Following the approval, Verizon aims to bolster its telecommunications capabilities, further strengthening its position in the competitive market.
This development comes after T-Mobile secured a major deal last year, acquiring a significant portion of U.S. Cellular's assets. The remainder of U.S. Cellular has since rebranded to Array Digital Infrastructure.
