Flight disruptions at IndiGo persisted into a seventh day, as the embattled airline canceled 127 flights from Bengaluru Airport, according to a source.

In a related incident, aviation safety regulator DGCA extended the deadline for IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers and COO Isidro Porqueras to respond to a show-cause notice regarding the operational disruptions.

The airline's extensive flight cancellations, including 65 arrivals and 62 departures, are attributed to new regulatory norms. IndiGo seeks phased implementation of these norms, which include increased rest periods and limited night landings, to address additional crew requirements.
