This incident is part of a series of recent Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Wildberries' facilities, aiming to broaden the strategic impact on Russia's economy.

Local authorities in the Sverdlovsk region declared a drone alert, reporting one repelled attack over Yekaterinburg. Despite a fire caused by falling debris, Governor Denis Pasler assured that critical infrastructure remained unscathed. The drone threat also caused delays at the Russian Athletics Championships, prompting athletes and spectators to seek shelter.

Ukraine has intensified its drone attacks on Russian territories, including claims of targeting Wildberries due to alleged military supply connections, which the Kremlin denies.
