Student Protest Highlights Scholarship Disparities in Jharkhand

In Ranchi, a massive student protest concluded on Friday, pinpointing delayed scholarship payments. The JLKM Party's student wing orchestrated the march, commencing on December 4 from Dumri, spanning 180 kilometers in six days.
Party president Sanjay Mahto highlighted that 11 lakh students were due post-matric scholarships, with only 7.50 lakh partially compensated. Worryingly, 4 lakh OBC students are yet to see their first installment.
Amidst slogans against state authorities, vice-president Devendra Mahto emphasized the two-year long delay in disbursing student dues, urging immediate governmental action.
