A fire broke out near the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region, reportedly caused by drone fragments, as reported by a local emergency center. Despite the incident, no injuries or significant damage were noted.
The fire, which eventually spread across 100 square meters, was quickly brought under control. According to reports shared on the Telegram messaging platform, a gas pipe located outside the refinery had been ignited near one of the site's checkpoints.
Earlier, Ukraine announced military strikes targeting the oil refinery and a depot in Russia's Volgograd region, as tensions continue to simmer between the neighboring countries.
