The Ministry of Ayush has joined forces with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment to enhance the well-being of senior citizens and confront the pressing issue of substance abuse. This strategic partnership aims to leverage Ayush-based solutions to promote geriatric healthcare and tackle addiction concerns, according to Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav.
The agreement, hailed as a groundbreaking initiative, seeks to foster cooperative health promotion among the elderly and those affected by substance abuse. Minister Jadhav emphasized the critical need for focused efforts in addressing these areas, particularly amidst an ageing population and rising addiction problems.
