India is poised to offer its expertise in drug regulations to numerous countries, providing valuable insights into its best practices, officials announced on Wednesday.
The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) has proposed training sessions for drug regulators from African, South East Asian, and SAARC countries. The initiative is part of the International Training and Education Center for Health (ITECH) programme overseen by the Ministry of External Affairs.
These sessions, developed in collaboration with the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), will impart knowledge on vaccine trials, marketing authorisation, and quality assurance practices in the pharmaceutical sector, aiming to bolster regulatory skills and elevate the global standard for drug administration.
