Authorities credit the 24/7 health centers, staffed with specialist doctors and paramedics, for delivering timely medical interventions that saved lives.
In total, 103 heart attack cases were reported, with medical staff successfully treating 81 patients. Additionally, prompt actions saved six lives out of 25 cardiac arrest cases, a state government press release revealed on Saturday. All 44 reported seizure cases were also treated successfully.
Prioritizing life-saving measures, the Department has bolstered its readiness to address cardiac emergencies, considering the physical demands of the hill trek. Cardiology units with essential drugs have been established. A total of 95,385 outpatients have received treatment, and emergency centers along the trek route enhance safety by providing advanced medical care.
