The Commissionerate Police of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack has imposed traffic restrictions on key routes as Union Home Minister Amit Shah visits Odisha this Thursday. His schedule includes pivotal events like the foundation stone laying of the National Forensic Science University and attending a Central Industrial Security Force event.

Amit Shah will arrive around 8 pm, staying in the city overnight. Police announced vehicle movement will be restricted at various squares, including Airport Square and Hospital Square, from 8 pm to 8.45 pm. Additional restrictions are in place on March 6, affecting multiple key junctions.

Police Commissioner SD Singh urged citizens to avoid restricted routes and use alternative paths. Emergency vehicles such as fire services and ambulances remain exempt from these restrictions.
