Newly elected MPs poised to become Union Ministers in the third NDA government will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence on Sunday morning. Sources indicate that top BJP officials have summoned the MPs, though the meeting's agenda remains undisclosed. Some of the MPs are expected to be sworn in as union ministers in the evening, according to insider reports.
Adding to the speculation, TDP MP Jayadev Galla announced on 'X' that MP Ram Mohan Naidu will assume the role of a cabinet minister, while MP Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani will be named a minister of state.
Prime Minister Modi, at 73, is set to swear in for his third consecutive term, a milestone that mirrors the achievements of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The ceremony will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan with dignitaries and special invitees from neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean Region in attendance.
