Congress Leaders Emphasize Focus on Maharashtra Elections and CM Post Decision
Congress leaders praised Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole's hard work, stressing the importance of electing representatives from Vidarbha. Decisions on the Chief Minister's post will be made post-elections by coalition partners, focusing now on removing the BJP government.

In a strategic move, Congress MLA and President of the Nagpur Congress Vikas Thakre praised the efforts of Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole, predicting success from his dedication. 'The way he took on the responsibility as Maharashtra Congress president, he will surely see the fruits of his hard work,' he remarked.
Thakre emphasized the party’s goal of securing maximum elected representatives from the Vidarbha region, noting, 'It is our responsibility to ensure we get the most representatives from Vidarbha. Those committed to their duties deserve recognition.'
Speaking to ANI, Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat highlighted that the decision on Maharashtra’s chief ministerial candidate will be a collective one among coalition partners and urged against believing in circulating rumors. 'We are competing as part of an alliance and will make decisions collectively. There are no reasons to believe in speculative names,' he stated.
Earlier, Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala reiterated that discussions regarding the Chief Minister's post will occur post-elections, with the primary focus currently being the ousting of the 'corrupt' BJP administration. 'Our primary objective now is to form the government by removing the corrupt BJP government,' Chennithala asserted while speaking to the media.
