Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy, D K Shivakumar, sought to end the leadership row involving them by presenting a united front. Asserting no differences exist, they reaffirmed their commitment to unity and adherence to the party high command’s decisions.
The leaders, in a joint press conference at Siddaramaiah's residence, emphasized efforts to strategize for future assembly elections. Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar outlined their plans to withstand opposition challenges and denied any factionalism within the party ranks.
Both leaders reiterated their intention to contest the 2028 assembly elections under Congress guidance, dispelling rumors of disunity and ensuring their allies of cohesive governance.
