In a fervent address, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan accused the BJP-led central government of implementing policies like the Citizenship Act that marginalize Muslims, effectively labeling them as second-class citizens.
Speaking at the conclusion of the 'Kerala Yatra', an outreach organized by the Kerala Muslim Jamaat, Vijayan emphasized the threat posed to secularism and democracy. He cautioned that neither majority nor minority communalism could combat such divisive tactics. Instead, he advocated for bolstering secularism as a defense strategy.
The Kerala Yatra, led by Kanthapuram A P Abubacker Musliyar, was praised by Vijayan as a pivotal step towards unity, challenging forces aiming to divide communities along religious or racial lines.
