Amid reports of vandalism at Trinamool Congress (TMC) offices, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar stressed the importance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) maintaining its principles and not emulating the TMC's alleged tactics. Speaking on Tuesday, Majumdar affirmed, "Ravan will always be Ravan; we, as BJP supporters, are followers of Lord Ram."

Majumdar cautioned against adopting TMC-like behavior, highlighting the public's rejection of TMC and the need for patience among BJP supporters facing alleged atrocities. He assured that the police would handle these incidents, emphasizing the BJP's commitment to a methodology-driven leadership, with discussions about the Chief Minister's selection and oath-taking ceremony underway.
