The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has voiced its displeasure with the International Cricket Council (ICC) after spotting an omission in the promotional poster for next year's T20 World Cup ticket sales. Missing was Pakistan's captain, Salman Ali Agha.
A reliable PCB source revealed that the issue had been communicated to the ICC. The promotional material displayed only five captains, highlighting cricketers Suryakumar Yadav from India, Aiden Markram from South Africa, Mitchell Marsh from Australia, Dasun Shanaka from Sri Lanka, and Harry Brook from England.
This isn't the first such incident, according to the source, who pointed out a similar situation during the recent Asia Cup, where broadcasters initially excluded Pakistan's captain from campaigns until the PCB raised the matter with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The PCB remains optimistic that the ICC will amend the oversight, stressing Pakistan's cricketing legacy and popularity worldwide.
