Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed concern over the declining population of Hindus and Adivasis in Jharkhand, accusing the JMM-led coalition government of engaging in 'vote bank politics' by supporting infiltrators at the expense of the state's identity, culture, and heritage.

He emphasized the urgency of 'throwing such forces out' to protect 'mati, beti, roti' (land, daughter, bread). Modi stated that the time is ripe for 'Parivartan' in Jharkhand to safeguard these key aspects of life and combat corruption. He criticized the coalition for jeopardizing the identity, culture, and traditions of the people while supporting infiltrators.

Modi also condemned the coalition's insensitivity, highlighting deaths among aspirants during recruitment drives for excise constables. This marks his second visit to Jharkhand in two weeks, as the state's 81-member assembly elections draw near.

Upon arrival, Modi greeted large crowds from an open vehicle and engaged with the tribal community, symbolizing their commitment to protecting 'mati, beti, roti.' The BJP's Parivartan Yatra, flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, covered approximately 5,400 km across all 81 assembly segments, concluding today.
