In a significant move towards cultural revival, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Bhagwan Yajnavalkya Veda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya campus in Sabarkantha on Saturday. The institution is dedicated to reigniting the 'Sanatan knowledge' in the younger generation, a key focus of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's National Education Policy.
Highlighting the campus's dual role in development and heritage conservation, CM Patel noted the importance of merging ancient wisdom with contemporary education, including subjects like English and computers. He emphasized that the institution would mold students into scholars and capable nation-builders.
Patel underscored the state's commitment to preserving Sanskrit, the root of Indian Vedic and historical knowledge, through various educational entities.
