Kharge Leads Congress Nominations for Rajya Sabha
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, accompanied by key leaders, filed his nomination for the Karnataka Rajya Sabha elections. The party also announced candidates for other states. Meanwhile, BJP has also unveiled its candidates for the biennial and bypoll elections across different states.

On Friday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge filed his nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections slated for June 18, from Karnataka. He was supported by prominent leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Karnataka's Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar.
Alongside Kharge, Pawan Khera and Mansoor Ali Khan also submitted their nominations in front of Karnataka Vidhana Soudha Assembly Secretary Vishalakshi. Kharge expressed confidence about unity within the party and their chances of securing victory in the Rajya Sabha polls.
The Election Commission previously announced elections for 24 seats from 10 states, issuing a June 1 notification. The Congress party revealed its candidates for various states, while the BJP also declared its nominees, led by Tai Tagak for Arunachal Pradesh and others across multiple states.
