The World Bank Group, in partnership with the global vaccine alliance Gavi, announced plans to bolster funding for immunization and primary healthcare worldwide. The collaboration seeks to mobilize at least $2 billion over the next five years, underlining a commitment to advancing global health.
Efforts will also focus on enhancing vaccine manufacturing capabilities across Africa, a key element of the World Bank Group's overarching goal to deliver essential health services to 1.5 billion people by the end of the decade.
