Supreme Court Grants Bail to TMC Leader Anubrata Mondal in Cattle Smuggling Case

The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted bail to Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Anubrata Mondal, who was arrested by the CBI in a cattle smuggling case.
A bench of Justices Bela M Trivedi and S C Sharma provided the relief to Mondal, citing the prolonged duration of the trial and his two-year imprisonment.
The top court mandated Mondal to cooperate with the ongoing investigation and surrender his passport as a condition of the bail.
