Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the issuance of appointment letters to 438 terror-victim families since 2025, presenting these figures not just as statistics, but as shattered worlds that endured profound loss due to violence. On Monday, in a significant move towards justice and restitution, Sinha handed appointment letters to 37 kin of terror victims and 29 relatives of deceased government employees. He firmly pledged to dismantle the terror ecosystem and vowed relentless commitment to securing dignified lives for the victims' families.

Addressing issues of historical neglect, the Lieutenant Governor denounced the protection previously afforded to individuals linked to terrorism. He cited the recent rapid dismantling of structures supporting terror networks and stressed the importance of restoring social trust and law within society.
