Donald Trump, newly re-elected President of the United States, announced he will not include Mike Pompeo or Nikki Haley in his forthcoming administration. This decision marks a departure from his previous Cabinet, where both served key roles.
Trump, aged 78, claimed victory over current Vice President Kamala Harris in the November 5 elections, becoming the 47th president. His first presidential term lasted from January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021.
Though Pompeo and Haley initially opposed Trump in the Republican primaries, they later endorsed his campaign, with Haley announcing her support at the Republican National Convention. Despite their contributions, Trump expressed gratitude for their service without extending invitations to join his new administration.
